ENTROPY

Time since meaningful flow. The system, settled. Entropy in the engine is not disorder — it is the proof that the chord has been held longer than impatience can hold its breath. Low volume on a Relic is not silence; it is the absence of strangers.

The Notation

Log-scaled inverse of 24h volume — quieter Relics produce higher entropy. The settled state is the resting state.

S = S = meani(clamp(1 − log10(v24h,i + 1) / 6, 0, 1)) · wi

— computed in functions/loomState, refreshed every 5 minutes —

tensioned against Adaptivity — the recent gradient that breaks the settled state

Each principle is one vertex of the chord the Loom holds in tune. None is the engine alone; the engine is the tension between them.
